SORO INTERNATIONAL
THE HEART AND SOUL OF MEXICO
Under one umbrella, SORO International links two leading Mexico tourist destinations: the Pacific Beach and the Colonial UNESCO World Heritage Cities. The name "HEART AND SOUL OF MEXICO" reflects the intention behind the proposed development of two resort and residential communities that offer distinctively different natural and cultural experiences. One is a Pacific coastal beach property called "Tortuga at the Twin Waters Reserve", the other is a rolling hills, forested site known as "Piedra at the Oaks Reserve”, located near San Miguel de Allende, a UNESCO World Heritage City which Condé Nast lists as BEST CITY IN THE WORLD TO LIVE.
Both properties are naturally beautiful and ecologically diverse and would appeal to both a national and international market. Mexico is an increasingly important international tourist destination, having received around 40 million visitors in 2018, especially from the United States. Tourism from East Asia is also expanding.
The two sister-properties' masterplans each include several development sites consisting of multiple hotels with their brand-named and designed residences, health center and spa, mixed-use village and leadership school.
